Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Remove the electronic brake control module (EBCM)/brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly to mounting bracket bolt.

  3. Without disconnecting any brake pipes, remove the EBCM/BPMV assembly from mounting bracket, then carefully reposition and support the modulator assembly to provide access for bracket removal.
  4. Remove the master cylinder mounting nuts.

  5. Remove the BPMV bracket from the vehicle.
