Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the seat cover to gain access to the head restraint guide tubes.
  2. Perform the following procedure in order to install the head restraint (1).
    1. Insert the posts into the head restraint guide tubes.
    2. Push the head restraint to the lowest position.

    3. IMPORTANT: Perform the following step to prevents the head restraint from being removed inadvertently.
  3. Pull up on the head restraint in order to verify that the lock springs are engaged.
