Removal Procedure

Remove the screws from the instrument panel (I/P) compartment door hinge.
Open the I/P compartment door.
Lift up on the I/P compartment door stop strap. Remove the stop strap from the I/P carrier.

Remove the I/P compartment door from the I/P carrier.
Remove the screws (2) from the inner I/P reinforcement cover (4).

Remove the inner reinforcement cover (4) from the I/P compartment door (1).
Remove the I/P compartment door latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
Remove the I/P compartment door lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment Door .
