Removal & Installation (Cavalier)

  1. Remove the I/P Pad trim. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Remove the HVAC control assembly retaining screws.
  2. Pull the HVAC control assembly away from the I/P. Disconnect the electrical connections. Disconnect the vacuum hoses. See Fig 1. Disconnect the temperature control cable.
  3. To install, connect the electrical connections. Connect the temperature control cable. Connect the vacuum hoses.
  4. Install the HVAC control assembly to the I/P. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Install the HVAC control assembly retaining screws. Install the I/P trim pad.
