Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the bolts/screws to retain the park/turn signal lamp assembly to the park/turn lamp.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts/screws to 2 N.m (18 lb. in)

  2. Install the bolts/screws to retain the grille assembly to the park/turn lamp.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts/screws to 2 N.m (18 lb. in)

  3. Install the rivet that secures the grille to the park/turn lamp assembly.

  4. Position the park/turn lamp housing with the grille assembly to the vehicle.
  5. Install the bolt that retains the park/turn signal lamp bracket to the upper tie bar.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

  6. Install the screw that retains the grille assembly to the fascia.

  7. Install the park/turn signal bulb/socket by depressing the lock tab and rotating the bulb/socket clockwise.

  8. Install the hood close out filler panel. Refer to Hood Close Out Filler Replacement in Body Front End.
  9. Close the hood.
