Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim panel to access the dimmer switch. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Chevrolet) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the retainers (1) on the dimmer switch housing.
  3. Remove the dimmer switch (3) housing from the I/P cluster trim panel.
