Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the DRL resistor to the right frame rail.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the DRL resistor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  3. Connect the DRL resistor electrical connector.
  4. Install the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement (Pontiac)  or to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Chevrolet) .
  5. Close the hood.
