Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper air cleaner and duct.
  2. Remove the Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve if equipped. Refer to EVAP CANISTER PURGE VALVE .
  3. Remove the power steering hoses from the power steering pump. Refer to the following procedures:
  4. Remove the power steering pump mounting bolts (2).

  5. Remove the power steering pump (1) from the engine.
