Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Front .
  4. Remove the wheel stud (1) from the hub and bearing assembly (2) using the J 43631.

  5. Discard the stud.
