Strut and Knuckle Scribing

  1. Scribe the knuckle along the lower outboard strut radius shown by the dotted line (1). Use a sharp tool.
  2. Scribe the strut flange on the inboard side along the curve of the knuckle shown by the dotted line (2).

  3. Make a scribe, mark across the strut/knuckle interface (3).

  4. Match the marks to the components during reassembly.
