Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the following components:
    • The spacer (4)
    • The insulator (5)
    • The stabilizer (6)

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the stabilizer link nut (3) attaching the stabilizer link to the stabilizer link bolt (6). Tighten the nut until the nut meets the end of the bolt threads for torque value. Tighten the nut to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
  3. Lower the vehicle.
