Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Remove the balance shaft chain cover.

  3. Remove the balance shaft chain tensioner assembly.
  4. Remove the oil pump cover.

  5. Remove the oil pump.
