Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
    NOTE: The engine front cover could be damaged if it is not properly supported during seal removal.
  2. Support the front cover and drive the oil seal out the timing chain side of the cover.
