Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire and 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seal into the front cover by driving it in from the timing chain side using J 36010.  The J 36010  will properly position the seal in the front cover.
  2. Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
