Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the right engine splash shield.
  4. Remove the balancer retaining bolt and the washer using J 38122-A  to prevent crankshaft rotation when loosening the bolt.
  5. Remove the balancer assembly using J 24420-B  .
