Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire and 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the engine mount to the vehicle.
  2. Align the engine mount (2) to the mount bracket using a dowel (1).
  3. Hand tighten the engine mount to body nuts (1).
  4. Install the engine mount (2) to bracket bolts (1). Tighten the engine mount to body nuts and the engine mount to bracket bolts to 55 N.m (41 lb ft). Tighten the engine mount bolts to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).
  5. Install the A/C low pressure line retaining bracket (1) nut. Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  6. Install the cruise control module mounting nuts. Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  7. Remove the floor jack.
