Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel.
  3. Remove the front fender liner.
  4. Remove the engine drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  5. Use J 38122-A  to prevent the crankshaft from rotating while loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt.

  6. Remover the crankshaft balancer bolt. Discard the bolt.
  7. Remove the crankshaft balancer.
