Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  Service the clutch pedal and bracket as an assembly.

  1. Remove the clutch master cylinder pushrod from the clutch pedal.
  2. Disconnect the clutch position and clutch cruise control switches.
  3. Remove the clutch cruise control switch from the bracket.
  4. Remove the instrument panel support beam.
  5. Remove the instrument panel support beam bracket bolt.
  6. Remove the clutch pedal and bracket mounting nuts.
  7. Remove the clutch pedal and bracket assembly.
