Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the clutch pedal and bracket assembly. See Figure.
  2. Install the clutch pedal and bracket mounting nuts.

    Tighten 

    Start with the lower nuts, tighten the nuts to 21 N.m (15 lb. ft).

  3. Install the instrument support bracket bolt.
  4. Install the instrument panel support beam.
  5. Install the clutch master cylinder pushrod bushing on the pedal. Lubricate the bushing.
  6. Install the clutch master cylinder pushrod to the clutch pedal.
  7. Install the cruise control switch.
  8. Connect the following components:
    • The cruise control switch
    • The clutch position switch
