Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the clutch master cylinder assembly to the clutch pedal assembly.
  2. Connect the clutch actuator cylinder line. See Figure.
  3. Install the remote reservoir. See Figure.
  4. Install the master cylinder retaining nuts at the front of the dash. See Figure.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts evenly to 21 N.m (15 lb. ft).

  5. Install the pushrod to the clutch pedal.
  6. Bleed the hydraulic system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding .
