Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire and 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the valve rocker arm cover.
  2. Install the valve rocker arm cover bolts. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
  3. Install the resonator bracket/fuel rail cover.
  4. Install the resonator bracket/fuel rail cover nuts. Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 ft lbs).
  5. Install wiring harness to retainer on valve rocker arm cover.
  6. Install wiring harness retainer bracket and nut.
  7. Install the resonator and duct assembly.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten the bolt to 16 N.m (12 ft lbs).
