Exhaust Manifold - Removal

  1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield, if the exhaust manifold is being replaced.

  2. Remove the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head retaining nuts.
  3. Remove the exhaust manifold.
  4. Clean all of the sealing surfaces.
  5. If the exhaust manifold is being replaced, transfer the following parts:
    • The exhaust manifold nuts.
    • The exhaust manifold heat shield.
