Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Remove the EBCM/BPMV assembly (4) from the lower BPMV bracket (2). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement .
  3. Remove the master cylinder attaching nuts.
  4. Move the master cylinder (5) forward just enough to clear the studs on the vacuum brake booster (1).
  5. Remove the lower BPMV bracket (2) from the vacuum brake booster (1).
