Master Cylinder: Removal

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake fluid level sensor. See Fig 1 .
- Disconnect the brake pipes from the master cylinder. See Fig 1 .
- Cap the open brake pipes to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Remove the master cylinder mounting nuts. See Fig 1 .
- Move the proportioning valve assembly bracket or the anti-lock brake modulator bracket forward, just enough to clear the studs on the brake booster.
- Remove the master cylinder from the booster. See Fig 1 .
