Removal & Installation (Coupe)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . For driver SIS, see ZONE 2 (COUPE) under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.. For passenger SIS, see ZONE 6 (COUPE) under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM..
- Remove applicable door trim panel. Remove water deflector panel. Loosen bolts securing SIS to door assembly. Remove SIS. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip from SIS electrical connector. Disconnect SIS electrical connector.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten SIS bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. For driver SIS, see ZONE 2 (COUPE) under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.. For passenger SIS, see ZONE 6 (COUPE) under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM..
