Zone 9

  1. Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. To enable passenger side impact air bag module, go to step  3. To enable entire SIR system, complete remaining steps.
  2. Connect passenger-side air bag module connector and install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. See Figure. Connect driver-side air bag module connector and install CPA clip. See Figure. Connect driver side impact air bag module connector and install CPA clip. See Figure.
  3. Connect passenger side impact air bag module and install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. Install AIR BAG fuse (15-amp) in instrument panel fuse block. Install access panel on end of driver-side instrument panel. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition on. Check system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
