Circuit Description

Ignition switch supplies ignition positive voltage to Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) at terminal A1 via AIR BAG fuse. When ignition is turned on, SDM tests SIR system for malfunctions while flashing AIR BAG warning light 7 times. If no malfunctions exist, AIR BAG warning light will then turn off.
