Inspection (Shift Tube)

Inspect shift tube for sheared injection plastic See Figure. If injection plastic is sheared, replace shift tube. Check shift lever operation. If lever can be moved to Park position without raising the lever, upper shift tube plastic bearing is broken. Replace shift tube.
