DTC P0351-P0358: Ignition Coil No. 1-8 Control Circuit: Description

This engine uses an individual Ignition Coil Module (ICM) and circuit for each cylinder. Sequencing and timing are controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). PCM commands Ignition Coil (IC) circuit low when a spark event is requested. This causes ICM to energize IC to create a spark at the spark plug. Each ICM has an ignition control, ignition 1 voltage, ground and low reference circuits.
