DTC P0128 is designed to detect skewed ECT sensor or engine thermostat that does not operate properly. Excessive flow through by-pass hose to throttle body may cause this DTC to set. A skewed IAT sensor can also cause this DTC to set. Check that IAT sensor reads near ambient temperature with engine running.
