Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts.

  3. Remove the exhaust pipe gaskets.
  4. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) lock.

  5. Disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector.
  6. Remove the oxygen sensor.

  7. Loosen the exhaust pipe clamp bolt at the catalytic converter.
  8. Remove the catalytic converter hanger bolts.

  9. Remove the catalytic converter hanger from the hanger bracket.
  10. Twist and slide out the catalytic converter from the exhaust muffler.
