Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Firebird and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  The slit in the insulator (6) must face toward the front of the vehicle.

  1. Using a pry bar lower the stabilizer shaft.
  2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator (6) to the stabilizer shaft (7).

  3. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket (5)
  4. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts (4).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
