Removal & Installation

NOTE: When installing, the slit of the shaft insulator must face the rear of the vehicle.

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket nuts (2). See Figure. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket. Using a pry bar, lower the stabilizer shaft. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator to the stabilizer shaft. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket to the stabilizer shaft insulator. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket nuts. Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket nuts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft). Lower the vehicle.
