Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Firebird and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the oil pump screen gasket (3).
  2. Install the oil pump screen (1).
  3. Install the oil pump screen bolts (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the oil pump screen bolts (2) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil pan. Refer to Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
