Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Firebird and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Replace the O-ring seal if necessary.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube to the engine block.
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the oil level indicator tube nut to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil level indicator to the indicator tube.
