Removal (Bank 2)

  1. Bank 2 is the cylinder head that is closest to front of engine compartment. Remove air cleaner assembly. See AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY  under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) shut-off valve. See Fig 1.
  2. Loosen and lower the pinch clamp connecting the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose to the bank 2 shut-off valve. Disconnect the hose from the shut-off valve. Remove the 2 nuts securing the bank 2 AIR shut-off to the bracket. Remove the bank 2 AIR shut-off valve from the bracket.
