Secondary Air Injection Crossover Pipe/Hose: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the retaining screws from the front portion of the left front wheel well/splash shield. Lower the splash shield far enough to gain access to the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump. Remove the retaining clamp from the pump crossover hose. See Figure.
- Remove the ties retaining the AIR crossover pipe to the engine cradle. Loosen and lower the pinch clamp connecting the AIR crossover pipe/hose to the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose. Remove the AIR crossover pipe/hose.
