A current DTC U1000 will clear when all of critical operating parameters for module have been associated with an identification number, or when current ignition cycle ends. A history DTC U1000 will clear after 100 ignition cycles without a repeat of failure. A current DTC U1000 is set if a fuse to a specific module is blown, while modules are communicating. A history DTC U1000 is set if malfunction occurs when modules stop communicating (ignition switch is turned to OFF position). When modules begin to communicate again, module with blown fuse is not recognized by other modules. A current DTC U1000 is set with other modules.
