Oil Cooler Pipe Hose/Pipe: Removal

- Remove the upper filler panel. See Fig 1 . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Remove the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe retaining bolt from the fan shroud. See Fig 2 . Slide the plastic cap off the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe quick connect fitting.
- Disconnect the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe from the radiator using the Cooler Quick Connect Tool (J-41623-B). Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the rear exhaust manifold pipe in order to gain access to the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting.
- At the rear of the transaxle, slide the plastic cap off the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe quick connect fitting. See Fig 3 . Remove the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe wire retainers from the oil cooler pipe.
- Remove the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe from the vehicle. Lower the vehicle. Disconnect the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting from the radiator. See Fig 4 .
- Slide the plastic cap off the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe quick connect fitting. Disconnect the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe from the transaxle using the cooler quick connect tool.
- Remove the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe from the vehicle. See Fig 5 .
