Removal & Installation (3.8L)

Turn ignition off. Disconnect spark plug wires from coils. Remove 6 screws retaining coils to ignition control module. Remove ignition coils from module. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten retaining screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Ensure plug wires are installed in the proper location on coils. See Fig 1 .
