Removal (5.7L)

  1. Partially drain the cooling system in order to remove the hoses at the throttle body. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor and the mass airflow sensor electrical connectors. Remove the air intake duct. Disconnect the throttle position sensor and the idle air control valve electrical connectors.
  2. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the throttle body. Disconnect the cruise control cable at the throttle body lever. Disconnect the accelerator control cable at the throttle body lever. Disconnect the coolant hose at throttle body. Disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator. Remove the throttle body attaching bolts. Remove the throttle body and the gasket. Discard the gasket.
