Fuel Pump: Removal

Fuel pump is located in fuel tank and is integral with fuel sender assembly. See Figure
. Remove fuel tank. See FUEL TANK
. Remove fuel sender assembly retaining ring. Lift fuel sending unit assembly from fuel tank. Remove and discard gasket. Clean the gasket sealing surfaces.
