Removal & Installation (3.8L)

Turn ignition off. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector. See Fig 1 . Carefully open the MAP sensor retaining tabs just enough to remove the MAP sensor from the vacuum source. Pull the MAP sensor straight out of the vacuum source. Inspect the MAP sensor seal for damage and replace as necessary. To install, reverse removal procedure.
