Removal & Installation (3.8L)

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge solenoid harness connector. See Fig 1 . Disconnect the purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge solenoid. Remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid from the intake manifold.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EVAP canister purge solenoid bracket nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
