Drive Belt TENSIONER

- Drain engine coolant. Remove drive belt. Remove the generator. See GENERATOR under Removal & Installation. Remove heater hoses from drive belt tensioner. Remove tensioner bolts (3). Remove drive belt tensioner (2). Remove thermostat bypass pipes (1, 4) from tensioner, if necessary.
- To install, Install the thermostat bypass pipes (1,4) to the tensioner, if necessary. Install the drive belt tensioner (2). Install the drive belt tensioner bolts (3). Tighten bolts to 37 ft. lbs. (50 N.m). Install the heater hoses to the drive belt tensioner. Install the generator. See GENERATOR under Removal & Installation. Install the drive belt. Refill the engine coolant.
