Rear Cover: Removal

  1. Remove the engine flywheel. See FLYWHEEL .
  2. Remove the oil pan-to-rear cover bolts.
  3. Remove the rear cover bolts. See Figure. Remove the rear cover and gasket. Discard the rear cover gasket.
  4. Clean and inspect the rear cover.
