Removal & Installation: Radiator: Removal

- Recover the air conditioning system. See MANUAL A/C-HEATER SYSTEMS article in HVAC.
- Drain the cooling system. See DRAINING & FILLING COOLING SYSTEM . Remove the radiator inlet hose. Remove the radiator outlet hose. See RADIATOR HOSES .
- Remove the evaporator tube bolt. See Fig 1. Remove the evaporator tube from the condenser.
- Remove the upper transmission oil cooler line from the radiator. Remove the fan shroud. See FAN SHROUD .
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Remove the lower transmission oil cooler line from the radiator.
- Remove the condenser tube from the condenser. See Figure. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir hose from the radiator. Remove the condenser inlet line from the condenser.
- Remove the radiator and the condenser assembly from the vehicle. Remove the condenser from the radiator.
