Removal (Inlet)

  1. Drain the cooling system. See DRAINING & FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
  2. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor harness connectors. See Figure. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the radiator.
  3. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator. Reposition the inlet hose clamps from the power steering cooler, if equipped. Remove the inlet hoses from the power steering cooler, if equipped.
  4. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp from the water pump. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water pump.
