Installation (Inlet)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Firebird and 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the radiator inlet hose to the water pump. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp to the water pump. Install the inlet hoses to the power steering cooler, if equipped.
  2. Reposition the radiator inlet hose clamps at the power steering cooler, if equipped. Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator. Reposition the inlet hose clamp to the radiator. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.
  3. Connect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor harness connectors. See Figure. Fill and bleed the cooling system. See DRAINING & FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
