Removal & Installation: Flywheel: Removal

  1. Remove the automatic transmission, if applicable. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - A/T article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. Remove the manual transmission, if applicable. See CLUTCHES article in MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS.
  2. Remove the engine flywheel bolts. See Figure. Remove the flywheel.
